"I came upon the idea for ManuscriptBuddy when chatting with one of my close friends, who's a PhD student at UCI. He's passionate about his research, but hates how he has to spend so much time and energy on formatting and structure for the papers he wants to publish. As someone who just finished grad school at the University of Chicago, I know how turbulent the world of academia is right now. I wanted to create a tool that would just make things a little bit easier for my friends and the academic community in general. That's how ManuscriptBuddy was born.
